Togo has officially completed the digital transformation of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts (MTCA), marking a new milestone in the country’s public sector modernization agenda. The project, carried out over one month of intensive work, was finalized at the end of last week.
The outcomes and future perspectives of this digital overhaul were presented on Friday, January 16, 2026, by the Togo Digital Agency (ATD) to the Minister of Civil Service Efficiency and Digital Transformation, Cina Lawson, and the Minister of Tourism, Culture and the Arts, Isaak Tchiakpé.
A key achievement of the initiative is the full digitization of administrative procedures within the MTCA and its affiliated institutions. These services are now available through the national public services platform at service-public.gouv.tg/mtca, significantly improving accessibility for users while reducing processing times.
Led by the Ministry of Civil Service Efficiency and Digital Transformation, the project was designed to address the internal operational needs of the MTCA. Several digital tools have been deployed, including systems for electronic document and correspondence management, representing a major step forward in streamlining internal administrative processes.
Following the successful completion of this project, other government ministries are expected to adopt similar digital reforms. The authorities have reiterated their ambition to extend the digitalization of administrative services across all ministries, with the objective of enhancing public sector efficiency and improving the quality of services delivered to citizens.
